My name is Mohamad THE FUTURE Osseili, and this is my story.

A hard life can crush a person. But for me, adversity has always been the battleground from which I come out stronger. The harder the challenge, the more relentlessly I’ve wanted to fight back. Each setback has fueled my determination. Today, I am a warrior, inside and outside the cage. My name is Mohamad THE FUTURE Osseili, and this is my story.
I’m a professional MMA fighter born and raised in Lebanon. Although my journey has taken me into the cage, the real fight began long before. I was raised in one of Beirut’s toughest neighborhoods called Ouzai. Despite the hardships, my parents did their best to provide a safe and loving home - but outside those doors was a warzone. On streets that knew no mercy, I was that chubby overweight kid with glasses. I had no self-confidence and did not know how to stand up for myself. For 15 years, I was bullied, beaten up, and teased. I was moved from school to school, each one more dysfunctional than the last. Teachers would hit students to discipline them, students formed gangs and the cycle of violence continued. I didn’t fit in – I always knew that. Neither did I want to. I had a very different perspective on life then people around me and yearned for a way out – I didn’t know how or when it would happen, but I was sure that one day I would climb over the bullet-ridden walls of my neighborhood and draw my own path.
In 2017, I lost my brother Mahmoud in a terrible accident. His death shook our family and devastated each one of us. While my parents and my siblings openly mourned Mahmoud, I closed up. I froze. I disconnected from the world, went heavily into drugs, and spiraled into a dark and dangerous place. Numb. Unawake. Unfeeling. It was a comfortable place to be. I could have stayed there…but I chose not to.

From Rock Bottom to Becoming a World Class Pro MMA Fighter
One night, I could feel the life slipping out of me. And honestly, I didn’t care. In fact, I welcomed death. As the walls closed up around me, I was sure there was nothing left to live for.
My bedroom was a 3x3 box. There were no windows, just walls. As I lay in bed for the second day in a row, high on drugs, I remember feeling like I was already in my coffin. Staring at the ceiling, I dosed in and out of sleep, in and out of time. It was on this night Mahmoud came to me in a dream. He looked disappointed. In my heart I could hear his voice telling me, “You’re the one who is going to get our family out. Stand up and fight.”
I heard him.
And I listened.
For 7 days, I locked myself in my room and forced the drugs out of my system. On the eighth day, I got dressed and showed up at the gym. I was overweight, unfit, and had no idea how to throw a punch. In front of me stood our community’s greatest fighters, legends in their own right. I watched in awe as they effortlessly moved, flowed, and glided into sublime takedowns.
It was intimidating, yes.
I was told to loose weight and come back later, yes.
But did I leave? No.
I stayed.
During the drills, I got hit badly, tossed around like a ragdoll. But I pushed back. When we got to the sparing, I found myself fighting back. I did not have the same strength, endurance, or skill of the guys in front of me, but I had a voracious hunger and will. I could hear my heart speak – and it was telling me, “You are strong, you got this.” Gloves on my fists, sweat running down my face, I made the decision to stick to this sport and I showed up – every single day.
Before I ever raised my hands in the cage, this decision was my absolute first win.
Years of hard work, constant struggle, and relentless training, I this overweight kid from Ouzai is now a professional MMA fighter, competing on the world stage and live streamed on UFC Fight Pass.

Why A Coach?
I have lived with pain for so long that I do not try to run from it. Instead, I hold its hand and allow it to be my teacher. I ask the questions: Why are you here? What am I supposed to learn from this experience?
The more I was told “you can’t” the more I wanted to.
The more I was told “this is how things are done” the more I questioned them.
The tougher things became, the more determined I was to draw my own path.
I want to help you do the same thing for yourself.
I am here to guide you through the transformative journey of changing your life. I understand what it takes to face your fears head-on, I know deep you need to dig to cultivate discipline in the short term, and most importantly, how much work goes into sustaining that discipline for the long term. I will help you stay creative and nurture your belief in yourself in the face of anyone who says you can’t.
When I made the decision to pursue MMA and set my sights on becoming an international fighter, I encountered skepticism from every corner of my life. Those closest to me doubted my abilities, questioning if I could handle the physical demands, making fun of my weight, and attempting to derail my dreams. Yet, I refused to conform to their expectations – and neither should you. People may be limited, but your only limit is the sky.
